Dr. Fang Zhang is a senior scientist at Pfizer, Inc., specializing in analytical insights to advance large molecule development. Before his role at Pfizer, he was the analytical team leader and lab manager at the Massachusetts Bio-Manufacturing Center. Fang earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Sichuan University, China, and completed his Master of Science and Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. He strongly believes in leadership and empowerment by service and example, graduating with honors such as the Chancellor’s Medal in Diversity & Inclusion (2020)—the highest graduate recognition—and the peer-to-peer Illumination Award (2025) at Pfizer.
