Lennart Justen

Lennart Justen is a graduate student in Media Arts and Sciences at the MIT Media Lab, where he is a member of Prof. Kevin Esvelt’s Sculpting Evolution Group. He is also a fellow at Draper Laboratory and The Council on Strategic Risk. Lennart’s research at MIT focuses on pathogen – agnostic biosurveillance systems and novel applications of AI in biology, including lab automation. Lennart has a BS degree in physics and political science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and has held research positions at various institutions, including the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), SecureBio, and several academic laboratories.
